Listening
Listening to instructions, conversations and short stories on familiar topics: themselves, school, family and the world around them. At home, your child practices more vocabulary and listening on a self-study app, with work set by the teacher.
Reading and Writing
Reading words, sentences and short texts that grow longer at each level; writing words and sentences, completing forms and writing short guided texts, following the Cambridge Reading & Writing paper.
Speaking
Answering questions about themselves, describing pictures and telling short stories with the teacher in class, following the Cambridge Speaking test, which is taken face to face with an examiner.

Grade-level courses follow the school English curriculum: grades 1–2 get to know English through listening, speaking, songs and games; grades 3–5 learn all four skills. Cambridge courses prepare for the Starters, Movers and Flyers exams.
Frequently asked questions
Can my child join if they don't know any English yet?
Yes. The center gives a free placement test and puts your child in a class that matches their current level. No prior English is needed.
How do I know which level my child should start at?
Your child takes a free placement test and the teacher recommends a suitable level. Usually grade 3 starts with Starters, grade 4 with Movers and grade 5 with Flyers, but children are placed by ability, not only by school grade.
Does my child have to take the Cambridge exam after the course?
No. The path follows the structure of the Cambridge exams so your child is ready if your family wants them to sit one. Starters, Movers and Flyers have no pass or fail: every candidate receives a certificate showing the number of shields for each skill.
